This course covers how to evaluate and select the right new product projects. How to make “gates”
more effective – get the right project information, what criteria to use to make Go/Kill decisions
Managing the Fuzzy Front End
The sourcing and transfer of ideas to the formal Stage- Gate® process is one of the most intangible
aspects of NPD. This session gives you guidance on the tools that are available to source, develop
concept proposals and evaluate new ideas.
Idea Generation and Development
This is a two part workshop where ideas are developed through a technique called the Zaltman
Metaphor Elicitation Technique. This part of the workshop is presented by Synnovation (a strategic
partner company).
The second part of the seminar is to take those ideas and develop a solid concept study (mini-
business plan) covering market, product definition, financial measures, and timelines
